Draught @ Arendsnest as "Barclay Perkins Oatmeal Stout with Brett". Aroma has licorice, cocoa and hints of hay. Flavour has salty licorice, some cocoa and coffee tones. Feels a bit ashy. Leathery palate. Too salty but good still. The brett is hardly observable at first, but then it shows up. JulienHuxley (5874) - Sherbrooke, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 1, 2014
On tap at Arendsnest. Cloudy black pour with tan head. Aroma is super roasty, caramelized sugars, malty, light leather. Taste is super umami, great roastiness, light leather, light smoke, really tasty. Palate is medium bodied with light carbonation. Really good.

Poured dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, dark fruit. Medium body, flavour is medium sweet, quite dry, moderately bitter. quite liquoricey. PotjeBier (3503) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 30, 2014
Tap @ Arendsnest (sample size). Murky dark brown to black color. Beige head, a bit frithy. Aroma’s: fruit, roasted malts, drop/licorice, a little seaweed. Retronasal I have fruit, light brett, roasted malts, chocolate, some hop bitterness. Flavor is moderate bitter (as in bitter chocolate), light sweet, with firm roast. Light bodied. Finishes with roasted malts, dry, ashy, quite bitter. Excellent, and (fortunately) hardly any brett. caesar (7165) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 29, 2014
Tap @ Arendnest as Barclay Perkins with Brett, small sample. Dark color, short frothy brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, lots of roast, slight coffee. Quite dry in taste, very roasted, slight bitter. Still nicely balanced, smooth velvety mouthfeel. Not a lot of Brett characteristics yet. Nice beer.
