On tap at Vrteka. Misty dark amber body with an enormous creamy off white-beige head. Aroma... citric, honey, sweet, grainy, funk. Taste-wise there is a dusty bitterish touch on a grainy sweet maltiness. Very light banana. Good enough.

Robe ambre, mousse crmeuse, peu persistante. Nez domin par les pices, la fourrure, les fruits secs, les pices, le poivre. Bouche quilibre, entre pices, fracheur, ampleur et tension. Agrable mais pas transcendante.

Leighton (20814) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 29, 2017
Bottle at home in London - sourced from Beer Gonzo. Pours clear orange-gold with a frothy, white head. The nose has some citrus notes, wheat grains, mild phenolics. Light-medium sweet flavour with more wheat grains, a little caramel, dough, ripe lemon, husky and grassy bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with a little boozy warmth, more grains, orange peel, grass, yeast, wheat bread. Not bad overall.

A rather weird aroma, pine and funk, not unpleasant , but fairly unusual . The flavour is a little flat, with some bitterness on the finish
