Poured dark brown with a huge, disappearing beige head. Aroma of musty roast malt. Medium body, only slightly sour, flavour of dry cardboard, roast malt and dark chocolate, a bit watery. mR_fr0g (14028) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2013
Tap at the brewery. Nose is tart berry raspberry with cacoa . clear caramel colour with a persistent cream head. Flavour is funky tart cherry and blackberry. The coffee is subdued but lingers. Interesting. coempa (27) - Reeuwijk, NETHERLANDS - AUG 24, 2013
A beer with a very interesting taste. The color is pitchblack with a creamy head. The aroma was varied:caramel, coffee, nuts, chocolate, and even that of red wine. The red wine taste was more present during the finish, where it ocurred to me even more. The taste is quite spicy and sweet, overall. The carbonation was quite flat, which didn’t bother me in this tastebud sensation.
Overall I’d say this beer is very artsy and very interesting, definitely worth a try. deanso (10277) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - AUG 13, 2013
On tap at de Molen.
Thin creamy tan head. Clear black pour. Slight sourness. Quite nice jmgreenuk (10364) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - AUG 13, 2013
Tap at De Molen. Poured a deep mahogany with a frothy tan head. The aroma is big dry yeast, leading to a medium sour flavour with lots of acid on a watery palate.
