(Bottle, In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 28 July 2017) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, resin and slightly metallic aromas. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin and a dry finish with a generous citric, slightly metallic, bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. fresh and tasty. Nice one.

Blond bier met grote wand klevende fijne witte schuimkraag. Geur: fris, verse groene hop, fruitig, meloen, perzik, lychee. Smaak: hopbitter, ietwat pompelmoes en citrus, licht moutzoet wat zorgt voor een goede balans en drinkbaarheid. Goede koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: hopbitter.

09-09-2017; bottle; at home (bought somewhere in The Netherlands). The looks of the beer are nice. It looks like a tropical Session IPA. The color of the beer is a nice orange amber. It is darker than most Session IPA's or regular IPA's. On top of the beer a nice thick layer of rough white foam is formed. Foam retention is good. After some time a nice rather thick creamy white drape is left. Some lacing is left on the glass. Not bad. The smell of the beer isn't bad, but it isn't the smell from worlds greatest beer. I smell some slightly hay like malt aromas, with a bready tone. I think they are a bit to rough. Hops are slightly to mild. There are some nice hoppy citrus aromas though. I smell som en ice lemon, grapefruit and a touch of stone fruits. Not bad, but the maltiness could use some finetuning. The taste of the beer is fine, yet, just like the smell, not incredible. The maltiness is slightly rough. It gives some sweets but there is also a bitter/not to nice touch to it. I don't know what it is exactly. The hops are nice. They give nice fruit flavours, and sweetness, bitterness and a refreshing sour twist. There is some citrusfruit, stone fruit and some pineapple, but im a bit biased since the description already mentions pineapple (ananas). The palate is average. Medium body, slightly sticky texture and high carbonation. The finish is dry and contains some nice fruity hops, but in the end it becomes very dry and there is this hay like not to great flavour. All in all, I like this beer and it's good, but there are some things that could be improved.

Bottle from an Albert Heijn in Ghent. Pours clear dark golden with a big, frothy, white head. The aroma contains hops, apple, grapefruit, peach, flowers, yeast, spices and grass. It tastes medium to light fruity sweet and medium hoppy bitter, with a slightly astringent finish. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Very fruity, even flowery; never aggressive; smooth mouthfeel. I’m all for it.

Tap tijdens Vierdaagse Nijmegen, bierfeest Joris Ivens plein. En al eerder uit de fles. Prima IPA, smaakvol met fruitige elementen. Lekker bitter zoals een IPA hoort te zijn.
