Countbeer (6589) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle: Served in a shaker: Medium sized beige brown foamy head with a deep dark brown to black colored beer underneath. Aromas of berries, cherries, yeast, manure, roast, coffee, dark chocolate, tobacco, some wood, light vinous, some yeast and a hint of hay roast. Flavours of deep roast, espresso, coffee roast, berries, dark chocolate, good bitter, tar, light vinous, meat, some bay leaf, more liquorice, iron, deep roast, malt and grain roast... Deep and dark and bitter! Quite heavy! Last pour was loads of yeast and makes the flavour more iron and mineral tasting... Aftertaste is strong bitter, dark chocolate, coffee roast, some vinous and berry notes, stronger bitter and some sweeter tar. Low carbo, light oily close to silky light spicy mouthfeel, full bodied and a light oily texture. Wow, what a beer! Very well done!
