Marduk (8505) - Reval, ESTONIA - FEB 11, 2016
250ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Cloudy dull amber color. Jumps out of the bottle as soon as cap is even slightly moved. Leather, straw, twiggy, sweet in aroma. Sweet, prunes, branches, yeasty, pine bark in taste. Sweet sappy pine bark in aftertaste. Bit yeasty too. Bit messy, but drinkable.

FatPhil (17160) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 10, 2016
275ml bottle (Bacchanalia, Carmbridge)

Gusher, no thanks, -1 for look. Pale cloudy wheaty colour, explosive head makes it impossible to pour. A little bit eggy aroma, some bretty funk and sourness. Behing that a simple wheaty taste, lots of bretty yeastiness. Light palate. Some almost rubbery aspects to the taste and finish. Some hops in finish, little bitter resiny dryness. Oh well, it’s an odd one. Not bad, but not good either.

Very interesting citrus beer with lambic horseblanket notes to it. Pretty odd but likeable tipple.

bierkoning (13743) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 21, 2014
Bottle. Blonde, hazy, pours a huge head. Citrus and mango in the aroma. Soft floral notes. Firm floral hopbitter flavor with lots of citrus and tropical fruit. Wheaty. Tasty and slightly alcoholic.

Scopey (15879) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 1, 2014
Small bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. It pours clear golden with a massive foamy white head. The nose is earth, dough, light spice, wood, apple, pear skin, muffin and light candy. The taste is bitter, doughy, light spice, straw, orange peel, earthy, toasted grass and light alcohol with a rather dry finish. Medium body, moderate+ carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Alright, but far from a game-changer.

caesar (7332) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUN 15, 2014
Bottled from Drinks & Gifts, batch 14022, dated 7-3-2014 BB 7-3-2016, medium sample, served into an Oersoep tulip glass. Slight hazy golden color, medium rocky slight off-white head, leaving some frothy lacing. Aroma is quite fruity, some citrus, but mostly apricot and mango, slight sweet candy, hint of pineapple. Bit sweet taste, fruity, slight bitter. Hint of alcohol noticeable. Quite dry finish. Lots of tropical fruit. The wheat doesnt seem to be too present at all. Flavorful and extremely fruity.
