Emil (6065) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 19, 2006
Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Malty, straw aroma and a sweet malty, straw taste. Medium body with a sweet finish.

Marko (5698) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 19, 2008
Can purchased at a store in Split
Pale yellow-golden colour, big thick white head that went away at a medium to slow pace. Slightly grainy nose. Dusty, eggy taste, some sourish hopiness. Grainy maltiness. Typical, boring industrial German lager, nothing to write home about. And now, the rant. This is imported by Daruvarska Pivovara and their owners, Durata (a company that fills beers in cans and plastic bottles). They do the bottling (Daruvarska) and the canning (Durata) for some reason. Odd but it wouldn’t be bad if not for the fact that they’ve increased their portfolio (consisting of a pils and a bunch of supermarket pale lagers) in the last few months with 2 other useless pale lagers. I mean, what the fuck. CROATIA DOESN’T NEED MORE PALE LAGERS. We need more styles, at least black beers. NOT PALE LAGERS, IMPORTED OR LOCALLY BREWED. Please make something else. Please.

oldrtybastrd (5002) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 11, 2008
Pours a nice light golden yellow. Aromas of hops, grass, and maybe corn. Taste is crisp with a nice mellow hop flavor.

Nekronos (4175) - Xalapa, MEXICO - DEC 28, 2012
Interesting I don’t know why I hadn’t tried before. Maybe the rememberance of other german gold beers had kept me away from it but it was nice, kind of soft and nice foam too.

2.8
rauchbier (3889) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - SEP 16, 2009
Bottle, from Rhythm & Booze, Barton upon Humber. Pale gold, good lasting fluffy white head and good condition. Gentle grainy malt and low fruity hop in the nose, soft and slightly fuity in the mouth with a pleasantly chalky maltiness, short grainy finish

2.5
FrankJohansen (3622) - Sabro, DENMARK - JUL 30, 2007
Bottle. Clear golden colour with a medium german style white creamy head. Mild malty taste. Good session beer.

1.8
suurjuust (3534) - ESTONIA - NOV 14, 2010
Pale straw, medium head, some lacing. Aromas of grain and malt. The taste is mild (like the label says) but it’s also standard boring some-malt-weak-hops-and-water pale lager fair. Kinda boring.

2.4
Calisky (2936) - ALSACE, FRANCE - APR 25, 2015
Couleur jaune dorée, mousse qui disparait. Nez leger malté. Gout leger malté avec notes légère houblonnées. Corps moyen. Lager de base....

2.4
Embrouille (2852) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 4, 2009
Bottled 66cl. Malty aroma which is faintly metallic. Oily palate. Mediocre hop and malt profile. Low bitterness. Not much carbonation. Medium bodied with hints of hay, metal and vegetables. Sweet malty. Some burnt plastic showing up in the finish. Poor and boring.

2.9
Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - AUG 11, 2011
Mild hopfig und getreidig im Geruch. Wiederum mildhopfig beim Antrinken. Mittig etwas absäuernd bei leichter Herbe. Im Abgang mildhopfige Tendenzen mit gesteigerter Bitterspur. Überraschend gut.Test vom 11.9.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche
