Bought in Aachen. Color is pale gold, with nice head firm white head and appaealing lacing. Nose is hops and bit of malts. Same is the flavour, could use more body.

Like I’ve noticed before, german mild’s (or gold’s, like they are here called) are more like the most popular lagers world wide. It’s not necessarily mild, it just doesn’t have the bitter bite of german pils. That’s also the case here, it’s not the tastiest of all lagers, but it still packs quite a lot. This ones on the sweet side, and it starts right from the nose. Medium carbonation and actually quite a full mouth feel. Like all oettingers, the head is almost non existent.

Pours a dark golden color with almost no head. Tasty malt aroma. Not too much flavor. Tastes like malt flavored water with some hops sprinkled in. Very timid.

0,33 l Flasche. Aroma: Malzig, minimal grasig, leicht erdig.

Brigh golden color with a white head that goes away quickly. Malty aroma with some toasted caramel note. Flavor is light sweet and malty. Low carbonation and weak body.
