Almost looks like a kristalweizen. Almost clear yellow with a white head on the small side. Straight bannana aroma. Watery bannana flavor. Probably good in the summer in Germany, but a poor choice in the winter in China. Very fizzy on the tongue. Sweet, bready finish.

jaghana (6107) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - JAN 22, 2011
Bottle 50cl @kaufland. A cloudy yellow beer with good head. Smell is wheat like and fruit. Aroma is medium sweet, fruity, slightly malty, not very creamy, a bit astringent. In the average.

Schroppfy (2360) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - JAN 9, 2011
Nice conditioning, very nice head originally and it persists well. Aroma harsh and grainy, with big elements of citrus rind. Too tangy and acidic in the flavor with not a lot else going on; soaked bread, harshness. Above drinkable level. Fresh, best before bottle = 5/25/2011.

Boutip (6397) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - JAN 4, 2011
Draft: Poured a hazy light orangey/beige color weizen with a decent foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aromas of banana ester are quite dominant with some nice notes of wheat malt. Taste is refreshing with notes of wheat malt with balanced sweetness level and banana ester, Body is quite full with average filtration and good carbonation. Not sure why this one is rated so low – it isn’t the best weizen out there but it still well brewed IMO.

Leighton (21463) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2011
Can in Bulgaria. Pours a cloudy, light gold with a very strong, foaming white head that subsides just a touch. Holds a moderate yeast, bread aroma with faint metal and cloves. Flavor is a bit uninspiring, very light breadiness, faint yeast and fruit. Light to medium in body with lively carbonation. Light malt finish, some yeast and apple, easygoing sugars. Could be stronger on the flavor front, but still nice enough to drink.

Can from Tesco, Mosonymagyarovar. Color orange and cloudy with small white head. Aroma, caramel, hints of banana. Taste, very flat, hints of lemon and banana but very decently. Not good beer.

thirstyrabbit (1849) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - NOV 11, 2010
Can. No need to add another description involving bananas, bubblegum and cloves. This is an average-to-good hefeweizen. Nice, but it needs some character to be memorable.
