At a tasting, thanks Dror, medium stable head, hazy orange colour, aroma of vanila, some spice and varnish, flavour of spice, bubblegum, nut and a touch of banana. light sourish numb aftertaste. Mediocre.

Hazy golden coloured body with a frothy white head. Aroma of yeast, wort, bananas and a touch of bubble gum. Medium-bodied; Gummy flavour with candy sweetness, bananas, cloves and a bit of coriander seed. Aftertaste is relatively mild, somewhat showing yeast, a bit of light spices and a good sweetness. Overall, a good break from the beers I’ve been having and perhaps a reasonably good german unfiltered wheat. I sampled this 500 mL can purchased from all places at FiviMart in Hanoi, Vietnam for ~25,000 VND (~1.25 US$) with no Vietnamese import label or nutrition data at all - just the typical EU-based lanuages and translations. Still, a great find and cheaper than I’d get back home in the US, if I could find it at all anyways!

Bierkrug (2129) - - AUG 8, 2010
500 ML bottle in Germany. Pours a golder hazy yellow, soft lingering white head. Unlike the most I found this to be a very decent Hefe maybe a bit yeasty, but not at all what I expected. I have passed this countless times regarding it as a cheap beer. While it is no Paulaner, it is definitly worth a taste.

Vaiz (4460) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - JUL 23, 2010
Bottle at home. Hazy yellowish orange pour with a thick creamy white head. Aroma of perfumed soap, banana, wheat, ripe melon and some cheap malts. Flavor is watery, fruity sweet with banana and some melon, slightly sour citrus and somewhat bitter spicy and metallic in the finish. Quite bad hefeweizen.

IrishBoy (4199) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUL 17, 2010
0.5 L bottle from my friend Bjoern brought from his home in Germany. Nose of bananas, wheat bready yeast, and light floral notes. Hazy dark yellow with a medium pale yellow head. Flavor is yeasty with some light bananas, the esters not really strong in this bottle.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a dense, off-white head. Banana, malts and notes of yeast in the aroma. Quite boring. The same goes for the flavor which has banana and wheat and a hint of cloves. There’s some bitterness in the finish, along with the flavors found initially. A really boring hefeweizen, but at least without any major flaws. 100212

50cl bottle shared with Tomaz. cloudy golden, thick white head. aroma, light clove with banana notes and wheat. flavors, light banana, some spices and clove, citrus and yeasty. Some light bready malts to be noted as well witha light fizzy carbonation. Palate keeps a mild astringent touch mixed with a mouthfeel that is watery. Not bad, but just a little too thin.

500 ml can. Golden body with a big, dense white head. Aroma is light spicy with yeast and only a hint of banana. Flavor is Fruity and light grainy. Refreshing but rather boring, the wheat impression is missing, closer to a pilsner.

inbirraveritas (1577) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 13, 2010
0.5 l can. Shows a hazy orange colour with a nice rocky head and lively/fizzy carbonation. (Citrus)fruity and yeasty nose. Taste’s sweetish, beginning’s sharp and watery, aroma’s light (citrus, banana)fruity with some cereal malt. Finish’s light bitter and dry. Body’s kinda medium, texture’s thin, therefor it’s easy drinkable.
