0.5L can, purchased in San Jose, CR. Pours a bright, hazy sunny-golden color; large, textured off-white head with great retention and lacing. Basic aroma of wheat and citrus; dry enough. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lots of citrus, creamy vanilla, wheat and banana esters throughout; very solid German hefe; lively acidity and crispness. Impressed by this, and surprised (and disappointed we didn’t start drinking this earlier on in the trip); great presence overall. Lengthy finish: citrus acidity, wheat, and toast.

A nice light wheat aroma, a hint of banana. Good yellow cloudy color. Flavor is just a little bit of banana and a little bit of clove, not too much of either and completely enjoyable. Unlike everyone else it semms, I truly enjoyed this hefe.

500 ml bottle. From Tallinn, Estonia. Pale hazy golden colour with huge off-white head. Aroma is wheat, banana and caramel, but somewhat weak. Some wheat and caramel but also metallic notes in flavour. Kind of light version of good German Hefeweizen. Decent.

0,5 l fles. Deze is toch iets minder dan de vorige weizen maar toch is dit ook een goed biertje.

Can 500 ml. It poured a cloudy golden liquid with a huge foam that left some lacing. It smelled if metall, malt and had a hint of banana. The flavor was fruity sweet with just a hint of banana, also some metal. A bit watery and it lacked that strong foam banana taste that I enjoy in wheat beers. But it worked great with the food and is probably nice on a hot summer day.

50cl bottle poured into a weizen glass. Cloudy orange with lots of fluffy white head. Smells like clove, citrus, banana. Taste is very subdued and watery. Hints of banana and yeast. Not much there. The worst example of a weizen I’ve had so far.

Dedollewaitor (16232) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 17, 2009
50cl bottle @ Germany. Pours a hazy dark orange with a fine creamy white head and lacings. Nose is sweet of banana, wheat & citrus. Sweet taste with banana & wheat upfront. Lively carbonation. Ends dry. Quaffable!

Bottle. Light yellow color. Fruity aroma. Sour flavor of yeast and vegetables. Some spicy tones. Not so good.

can, pours cloudy light yellow, tall white head, good lacing. Aroma is bannana with a touch of clove. Wheat and bannana in the form of a medium body round out with a clove spice and mild spicy hop bitterness. Not bad at all.
