Best beer from Oettinger! Orange cloudy juice colour, superb one. Nice aroma and taste. Very nice top also, light beige to white. Creamy texture. Really very nice and different somehow from its class.

Bottle shared at home thanks to Sjogro. Slight hazy golden with white head. Banana, sweet grains, cake, cardboard, light spices, cloves, dust. Light sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Lots of nasty dust and paper notes, not good at all.

The foam is nice, white foam and very persistent. Its aroma is dominated by grain, slightly citrus and a pleasant hop aroma. The color has a beautiful dark glow that not all Hefeweizen can offers. It tastes sour in a refined way. In addition, soft and hoppy taste. Malt is unsurpassed finely balanced in relation to the beers other flavors. The finish is dry and pleasantly bitter and long.

500 ml bottle from Germany via Christine (Danke!), served cold in a tulip glass. BB 07.12.15.

App.: Cloudy deep golden with a fluffy off-white head. Aroma: Moderate-full banana, a little clove, hints of vanilla, light toasted wheat, yeast and wet bread dough, straight-forward and affable. Palate: Medium body, medium-high carbonation, a bit creamy. Flav.: Similar to the nose, banana dominates, with a little clove and vanilla in behind, light wheat graininess, a touch of brighter fruitiness, yeast and bread dough; lightly sweet with minimal bitterness and a pleasant banana and wheat finish.

Pleasant.
