hazy yellow with a thick white head. smells yeasty and bright. taste is almost tart, mellow - a tiny bit of banana, some wheatiness, no flaws but not weizen-y tasting. mouthfeel is thick and foamy. considering this is a cheap beer, its a great one to throw in for sessioning as it is pretty tasty, though definitely does not fit the taste profile of a proper weizen.

500ml. bottle in Mae Kasa, Thailand. Pours a cloudy dark orange with a quickly diminishing head. Aroma of wheat, malts, banana, bubblegum and yeast. Taste of light citrus, banana, bubblegum, wheat. Smooth mouthfeel. Solid hefe.

Sampled from 0.5 l bottle as 'Oettinger Hefeweibier Natrutrb' from local 'toom', best before April 2018. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of banana, cloves, wheat and hints of vanilla. Slightly sweet, minimally sourish, rather yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of wheat, banana, clove, some vanilla and hints of pear, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little tart and rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Weizen, not bad at all.

Bottle - slightly cloudy golden, good thick white head. High carbonation. Good banana, yeasty aroma. Slight ting on tongue and in mouth but ok. Refreshing but not overally lasting taste, ok fine but not best.

500 ml can. Cloudy golden colour, big head with good durability, nice lacing, soft carbonation. Nose is sweetish, yeasty, banana. Flavour is similar, but quite weak and watery. Short finish. Disappointing.

Bottle in manheim, Germany. The aroma is sweet wheaty, maybe a bit too much

gift from son Kyle - Thanks! --- bb 03.01.18 --- Hazy medium-light amber, rocky white head that stays at three fingers (too much!), long lace streamers. Taste is sweet malt, a light pinch of hops, then more sweet. Slightly thin at the end. A definite meh.

Poured from 500mL can (labelled P: 02/02/2017; E: 02/04/2018). Hazy light golden orange with full white head. Yeast and banana with mild bread malt and very subtle hint of clove. Creamy texture to begin, but flavour dissipates a little quickly on the tongue.
