500ml bottle. Brewed under licence by MPK (recently I read that they have a 40-year contract to brew Oettinger beer). Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is malt and grass, as is the taste. Light sweetness. An ok pils. gunnar (9085) - Sandnes, NORWAY - MAY 5, 2016
Bottle shared with Kåre. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of malts, bready with flowery hop notes. Taste is light flowery hops, bready malts, weak dry and clean mouthfeel, ok beer

UPDATED: APR 18, 2016 Bottle. Pours yellow/gold color with small-medium white head which doesn?t last too long. Aroma is metallic, grassy and grainy. Flavor is the same with more pronounced hop character. Light body. Some toasty notes in finish. Overall: as expected. Boring Fatehunter (2567) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - APR 15, 2016
Pours a finger and half of head on a clear straw body.

The taste has a bit of metallic bitterness with some grain sweetness.
The texture is fairly crisp.
Not great. DraftDodger (1510) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2016
UPDATED: MAY 8, 2016 Los Cristianos, Tenerife 21/3 2016. 50 cl can from Hiper Dino
Market. A big Gold medal on the can and a lot of assurance that this is indeed a German Beer including a label in black, red and golden yellow saying "Original German Beer". I think that they get a lot of German tourists on Tenerife. Pours clear pale yellow with big white head. Settles rather quickly as very thin almost transparent layer of foam. Very moderate lacing on the side of the glass. Aroma of sweet malts with a sharp sour note. Cereals and grains are prominent. Soft carbonation and watery palate. Taste is balanced between subdued malty sweetness and medium bitterness. It might be original and German but it is also a rather boring German pilsner to be honest. But way better than many of the lagers you can pick up around these quarters.

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2016 .3l pour from tap into tiny pils glass in Kazakhstan. Clear, light orange yellow, light white head, decent carbonation. Nose is lightly sweet and musty malty. Body is light and almost crisp. Taste is mild-- almost a hint of bitter, but not quite. Easy to drinking, but nothing super appealing. phfyysik (1269) - Tartu, ESTONIA - FEB 22, 2016
Pours golden clear with white top. Aroma is malty, some grass notes. Taste is a bit bitter, malty notes, some fruits and sweets maybe. Quite regular mass-production pilsener, nothing notable. caribou43 (1024) - Lausanne/Sevilla/Lima, SWITZERLAND - FEB 5, 2016
For a budget beer, it could be worst. Yellow and clear with a thin foam. There is a side mettalic and for a pils the hop is discreet. The taste is in the mouth not so bad. Gangstergafje (1142) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - JAN 15, 2016
The beer has a very simple look. The color is golden yellow, very clear and has a tiny rough foam head. It looks simple, just like an ordinary pilsener. The beer smells simple. It is bready and malty, a little artificially sweet. The smell is not to good. There is a tiny hop aroma as well. The taste is exactly the same: bready, a little sweet and hoppy. It isn’t the best beer. I like other pilsener more though.
