Can - Sweet malt aroma slightly soapy. Dry malt taste with hint of sweetness. moderate mouthfeel with a dry finish. Not bad for a budget beer.

gift from son Kyle - thanks! --- Clear light golden amber, white head, mottled lace curtain. Taste is malt and hops laid on medium carbonation. So simple, yet satisfying. Nice light brew.

Good German pilsner with a fresh taste. I’ve bought a bottle at the Lidl. Better than the average pilsner and very cheap.

Süß-herber Antrunk. Helles Malz, metallern bitter, die Süße schwindet. Zunehmend trocken, die Bitterkeit bleibt konstant, kann aber immerhin seinen metallernen Touch ablegen. Trinkbar. 8/7/9/7/6/7

0.49 Euro plus bottle deposit. 500ml in my holiday apartment in Cochem on 5th May 17. Gold, clear and clean body, fast fading white head. Grainy taste, no aroma, bitter and dry finish. A whole lot better than I expected.

Almoust no aroma of malts and hops. Taste is like a modest no identity pils.metalic finish.

Straight from the 0.5 l can. Smooth pilsner, bittersweet with short finish. Have had many worse and countless better.

Macrobrew swill lager, though not distasteful it is instead rather meaningless and bland, with absolutely no identity. Recently Oettinger Pils has been heavily advertised in Tbilisi, Georgia. The German name and German flag on the bottle acting as a powerful intoxicant to the EU aspiring nation. Drink to Europe and German democracy. Shame though, as just like democracy, the beer is heavily flawed. The boringness of flavour and aroma is surprising given this is the best selling brand in Germany. Nice enough colour, this is suitable for a house party.

Can shared with Sarah on holiday in Fuertaventra. A crystal clear dull golden coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is sweet malts, slightly nutty, hint of apple, relatively clean. Flavour is composed crisp light cereal malts, not much hop, crisp, carbonic acid,. Palate is light, crisp, highish carbonation, not bad.

12.03.17 in Hamburg, 50 cl bottle, bb. 05.08.17. A thin white foam layeer on a clear yellow beer. Very little aroma of malts and hops. Taste is like a standaard pils without extremes. The body is somewhat thin. It is drinkeble and good brewed, but it will be not a topper for me.
