50cl bottle bought in Germany, pours a brown-tinged black with a fast-vanishing beige head. Nose of roast malt and molasses with a touch of coffee, sweet and slightly prickly on the tongue, treacle toffee on the back of the palate, roasty with hints of fruitcake, long dark roast-bitter aftertaste. A very quaffable schwartz. sebletitje (10282) - Enghien, BELGIUM - JUN 28, 2010
bottle shared with Tomaz.
dark brown; tan head.
aroma and flavors, light body, with mild caramel malts, touch of dark fruits, fizzy carbonation leaving a watery palate along with some bitterness.
Again, nicely done, but weak and watery.

Bottled (thanks Timo A!). Very deep ruby colour, mediumsized beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel malts, some syrup as well as toffee. Flavour is quite much the same and overly sweet. Could do with some ingredients that balances the sweetness up. jaghana (6224) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - NOV 13, 2009
Bottle 50cl. A dark but carbonated beer with a huge white head. The smell is rosted, not too malty a bit nutty. Some floral taste are there (from the yeast ?). Quite dry but very drinckable, not very complex. Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - SEP 29, 2009

Pours dark brown/ black with large long lasting and nicley lacing light brown head. Aroma is malty with roasted caramell notes and a faint smokiness. Clean maltiness in flavor with a faint roastiness. Nice long lasting finish. ha1ag (946) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - AUG 27, 2009

(Bottle) Kicks off with a very a dark brown and a small but lasting creamy beige head. There are fruits and malt in the aroma, with a bit of coffee and cereals. Flavor is malty, slightly toasty and bittersweet, with a medium bitterness. Light to medium body, not so complex. Bitter finish.
