Murky reddish-brown with a small head. This beer has a chocolate nose with a hint of cherry. It has alotta chocolate cherry flavor, but not much beer flavors to it. Its nothing I would want to drink more than a couple times a year. Tmoney99 (15034) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 10, 2005
Mothers Day tasting. Bottle. Poured a reddish brown with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavor of cherry and chocolate. Light body with little finish, which was not like a sweet fruit brew. Weak version of style. crossovert (14006) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 5, 2013
Trolololololololololololololololo. Tastes and smells exactly like a cherry tootsie pop.

Bottle at Growlers Pub West in St. Louis. The beer is a dark reddish-brown color with a medium thin light beige head that recedes quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma similar to a cherry Tootsie Pop. Medium-bodied and sweet with cherry and chocolate flavors, plus a touch of malt. The finish is artificial cherry sweetness that does not linger long. Overall this one did not really click with me. BeerandBlues2 (13870) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 23, 2012
Bottle. Pours clear dark amber with a small, fizzy white head, short retention with no lacing. Aroma is chocolate and cherry dominant with light cookie malt, and earthy hops. Flavor is chocolate and cherry dominant with a dry finish. Light body and carbonation. bu11zeye (13239) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - AUG 23, 2004
UPDATED: AUG 27, 2004 (Bottle) Pours a light brown body with an off-white head that dispates quickly. Smells like opening a cheap box of chocolate covered cherries that are sold during the Christmas holiday season. Taste of cheap chocolate and canned cherry pie filling. Not an enjoyable flavor for a beer. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 29, 2005
Bottle acquired in trade with beerhandy. Poured a medium, hazy, reddish brown color with a larger sized off white head. Aromas of chocolate covered cherries (who would have guessed?). Tastes of the same. Just like my grandfathers favorite chocolate covered cherry candy. Weaker and thin body. Interesting. deyholla (12439) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 10, 2011
Bottle shared by Kevin, thanks. Pours a clear amber with a ruby brown hue and a very light brown that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma smells just like a tootsie roll with a hint of backing sweet cherry. Flavor also tastes just like a tootsie roll with a hint of cherry, but very sweet.
