Tap at brewery. Red brown with medium white lacing. Smells like pumpkin pie - cinnamon, nutmeg allspice, pumpkin, brown sugar and vanilla. Tastes a lot like pumpkin pie, but has a slight medicinal cherry aftertaste. Medium body with a crisp feel. Niko100 (2998) - Chicago, New York, USA - JAN 12, 2017

Pours a clear dark amber. A strong pumpkin and cinnamon aroma. A strong pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and spicearoma taste with sweet malts. A sweet malt and spice aftertaste. 5000 (6862) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - OCT 2, 2016
Bottle thanks to Keir:   Viscous amber pour, thin to moderate foamy off-white head, so-so lacing.   Brown sugar aroma, soft spices, a touch of alcohol.   Similar on the tongue.   Warming on the backside.   Not overly done with the spices.   Comes across as a sipper for sure.   Moderate to full body and mouthfeel.   Warming finish, soft spices, alcohol.   Solid example of the style.

3.25 A: Clear deep plum color. Two fingers of creamy tan head. Retention isn’t the best, but a short ring of lacing is left.
4.75 S: This is quite nice. Big ass pumpkin, vanilla, then pumpkin spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, clove. Rich creamy caramel, hints of toffee.
5.0 T: Goddamn, this is a great beer. Again lots of pumpkin followed by vanilla and the spices above. The base beer kicks ass as well. Super rich caramel, toffee, a touch of toastiness, molasses. It blends so together - it forms a milkshake like richness with a nice sweetness at an appropriate level.
5.0 M: Heavier medium to heavy body. Good moderate carbonation. Rich, velvety and creamy. Perfect here.
5.0 D: This is a helluva beer. It might be the best pumpkin beer out there (I still may like Pumpking with a bit of age on it better) but it surely is the best I’ve had this year.
