Light clear yellow. Buttery. Very smooth. Sweet malt. Well balanced. Perfect beer on this 100+ degree day.
DATE: May 14, 2017.... OCCASION: Home after Mother’s Day shopping with Shan... GLASSWARE: Rare Vos shaker... pours a pale, soft golden body that splurges its effervescence with cascading bubbles... head is another story, a swift fizz of off-white that rings to clumpy bogs of marshiness... weak lemon and hay meld with light hops to produce a flowery, aromatic sensation akin to lavender... airy, elements of honey and vanilla as well... from that auspicious beginning comes the first sip: dishwasher safe, thin, oily... on a warmer day, this could be considered an asset, but on an average May afternoon, it’s just a shade away from water with extra calories... not much creaminess to its mouthfeel, although it holds at its finish... honey, ginger, light pepper, subtly spiced malts, and an elusive something creates a light, almost puckering profile with a beefy fallout by its end...a beer that might beat a raddler on a given day but has little replay value on its own... could do worse at a backyard barbecue, but not a rewarding gem in the mystery 12 mix I bought... gripweed57 (2967) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - MAR 17, 2017
12 ounce bottle. Pours a pale golden color. Small bubbly white head leaves quickly. Perfumy, sweet ,
Malt nose. Notes of anise and apricot. Flavor is light grainy malt. Some fresh fruit syrup, like you’d did in a fruit cocktail. Light bodied and bland. Could be a refreshing brew come summer. Larry_Duffman (618) - - JUL 24, 2016
UPDATED: JAN 30, 2017 I poured it from the bottle into a pint glass. It pours a hazy, golden color with a white head. The aroma was lemon and other fruit. The taste is lemon, orange, bread, and a very subtle hop bitterness. This was pretty okay and refreshing. 5on1 (22) - Covington, Kentucky, USA - SEP 29, 2014
Poured a clearish gold, with a 2 finger head that held for 3 minutes. Left a nice lacing on the glass. Taste of tart lemon and very crisp. Great session brew. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Had this at the Great Arkansas Beer Festival 2014. Pours yellow. Some citrus and slight floral. Finishes clean. Decent beer.

12oz. bottle poured into sensory glass. Pours a clear, golden yellow with a fluffy, snow white head that has good retention and lacing.
Smell is of light fruits, lemon, biscuits and some faint hops.
Crisp, light, and plenty of carbonation in the mouth. Creamy and sweet up front, with a light hop presence which brings just a bit of bitterness to the finish.
Overall, a nice summer cream ale. nike (966) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 20, 2014
I had to laugh, I saw cheap’s rating a few down from mine. Typical good Cheap brew, nothing rude or offensive in this one. Decent cream ale, good light lager. JonLaRue (68) - St Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 4, 2014
Tasted from a 12 oz bottle. Faint odor of stale white bread. Appearance typical of a lager. Tastes like a cross between a cream IPA and a lager. Sadly too light on hops as an IPA. A tad bitter for a lager. This beer is a cross between an two styles and happily doesn’t take much identity from either. Its refreshing and has more character than bud light. This is a good beer to switch someone from mass market to craft, though it will leave the seasoned taster wanting more. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - DEC 8, 2013
Light yellow pour with a white head. The aroma has some grain and light sugar notes. The flavor is similar with a lot of biscuit malt, grain and grass. Fairly sweet overall. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation. cheap (6203) - CHINA - SEP 8, 2013
Froma twist off bottle. Looks like any other cheap lager. Decent fresh beery aroma, a little metallic on the olfactory. Fromthe tastebud start, this is a pretty refeshing beer, glasd I tried it. It seems to have good manners. Would appeal to the typical lager lover, never over the top. Hides alky fairly well, even for 4.5%. Yes, good overall pleasant beer experince. On style for an enjoyable cream ale. Easy to like.
