355ml twist off bottle. Amber/gold pour, foamy white head. Noticeable smoke and toast in the smell. The flavor continues this profile, slight smoke goes with some sweet malt tones and very light herbal hops. Suffers from weak body but otherwise nice. Certainly looks like they cleaned itup this year looking at old reviews. BVery (10297) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - OCT 6, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 23, 2013 Bottle. Clear amber pour. Absolutely god awful - smell isn’t ridiculously bad, but it tastes like band aids. Disgusting. DuffMan (10267) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 20, 2013
On tap @ Radio Maria, ordered accidentally. Red amber colour, no head. Aroma is caramel and vague red fruits with a candyish sweetness, maybe red liquorice? Sweet caramel flavour with leathery notes and a dry finish. I didn’t care for it. phaleslu (10098) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 22, 2013
12 oz. bottle from The Party Source. Meant to consume this on St. Patrick’s Day but didn’t get a chance to drink any beers that day. An off day for the NCAA Tournament will do. Pours a clear copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts, leaves, and toast. Flavor of caramel malts, peanuts, dry leaves, toasted brown sugar, and some spice at the end. Light-medium bodied, with a sweet, sharp mouthfeel and carbonation that makes itself known at the end. Not bad. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 26, 2013
12oz bottle, from Party Town. Screw top bottle. Clear copper color, lots of bubbles on the side of the glass. Pours with a bubbly off-white head. Soon fades to minimal. Only a dot or two of lace sticks. Caramel malt, lightly spicy flavor. Light to medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation, not too hard to drink. Moderate bitter taste, light sweet. Solid Irish ale, better than expected. Good to wash a sandwich down with.

Bottle at Bigelos. A clear red pour with a small beige head. The aroma is quite malty with more gentle fruit. The flavor begins with bready malts and yeast. Hops are present but are in the background. They add light fruit, floral notes, and some character from bitterness. If there is peat it is
Iight. Caramel is nice. While I don’t really taste everything that is described, this is a nice beer. It is finishing more like an ESB. wlajwl (6738) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - MAY 2, 2013
