[email protected] Very deep rubyish brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is caramel malts, soome roasted notes as well as smokedwood. Mild nuttyness as well as fudge as well. Flavour is roasted malts, slight fruity notes and mild nuttyness. Served way too cold as the aroma and flavour open up only after it gets closer to room temperature.

Bottled. Nearly black. Rich beechwood smokey aroma. Fairly sweet with medium body and notes of licorice. Perhaps the mouthfeel is a bit clean, but otherwise it very good and thoroughly well made.

Tasting at Papsø
Black color, small head. Aroma of artificial vanilla (that spoils everything), chocolate, light smoke. Dry body, weak mouthfeel, roasted malt flavor (light) with some smoke (light). The final is a bit empty and dry. Not very good.

harrisoni (19165) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2017
Bottle from GBBF 2017 and drunk at home. Black beer lasting thin tan head Smoke on aroma no doubt. Smoked wood and bacon. Quite smooth in mouth. Smooth porter base. Smoke is quite intense but quite well integrated too. A little smoked fish. Base beer is a little oily. Ok. I mean i do like the smoke not sure about the rest of the beer .
