Smokey is right. Way too much smoke flavor. It overpowers the rest of the flavors. Smells good when you open it, but almost gimmicky in flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Smoky roast aroma. Starts with a large head that quickly vanishes. Pleasant malty taste, the smoke is obvious but not over the top - its very tasty. I got on with this and found it very easy drinking for a smoked beer.

Bottle from GBBF 2017 and drunk at home. Black beer lasting thin tan head Smoke on aroma no doubt. Smoked wood and bacon. Quite smooth in mouth. Smooth porter base. Smoke is quite intense but quite well integrated too. A little smoked fish. Base beer is a little oily. Ok. I mean i do like the smoke not sure about the rest of the beer .
