Really lackluster. Very faint carbonation with a non existent head. Little in the way of aroma and mouthfeel. No good alcohol bite. A little roast, chocolate flavor. Not a joy to drink. Up against other imperials this one lags behind. Adding in the $16/4 pack price I feel like a fool. Beer and fruit you buy at a grocery store you should be able to return for a refund. Disappointed in that it's sub par and I expected much more from OC. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

FROTHINGSLOSH (7796) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 30, 2017
Sampled on draft at Tapped this beer poured a black color with a huge foamy brown head that lingered and left excellent lacing. The aroma was sweet chocolate syrup, graham cracker and marshmallow. The flavor was sweet and toasty with marshmallow, chocolate and graham cracker. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Excellent.

Nearly opaque pour. Head has no hesitation to fiercely dissolve into nothing. Supremely fun aroma. Almost encompassing the whole spectrum of chocolate. Roasty coffee, vanilla, nutty, and (believe it or not) that marshmallow fluff does come through after a while! Much more forgiving body than expected. Tons of that chocolate-spectrum redux in the flavor, roasty coffee, suspended body, lightly slick, gliding along a delicate bittersweet linger that holds just the right amount. A unique dark/chocolate breadiness present as well, quite unique.

Bottle from J’s. Pours a deep brown to black with a little bit of foam that dissipates quickly. Big deep milk chocolate nose with some light roasted malt. As it warms some marshmallow comes out. Lots of cacao nib, marshmallow, cream and roasted malt on the palate. Soft mouthfeel with low carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel and sweet, but also some nice roasted cacao bitterness. Light graham, but not much. Tasty.

355 ml bottle at home, thanks to Glen. Black color with brown head. Roasted malty aroma, caramel, chocolate, cocoa, light coffee, vanilla. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma but even better. Medium silky oily body with soft carbonation.

Rich black hue under a creamy and fluffy tan head. Stupid amazing aroma with sweet milk chocolate, cocoa nibs, marshmallow, brown sugar, graham cracker, and a kiss of brilliant coffee. Lovely rich flavor that’s sweet with milk chocolate and toasted marshmallow, graham cracker and gentle coffee, and a smooth lactose sweet finish with more cocoa sweetness. Brilliant and complex dessert beer.

Pours dark with a very fast dissolving foam head. The aroma is of molasses, chocolate, vanilla, and roasted malts which smells rather nice. Tasting, I got a simple but good mouth feel. It was more thin than I would have imagined too. The flavor was pretty artificial. I got a defined marshmallow taste with a roasted and mildly bitter chocolate malt flavor too. The vanilla is there and the stout was rather sweet. In the end the finish was enjoyable and overall this is an easy drinkable brew.

12 ounce bottle- pours pretty much pitch black with slight red hue. very minimal head. Nose- slight roast, dark chocolate, vanilla. Taste- powdered chocolate, vanilla with chaulky finish and a touch of alcohol heat. The chocolate really lingers.

Fresh batch. Black with a very thin tan head that leaves no lacing as it quickly disappears. Aroma is cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, graham cracker, and roasted dark malts. Taste is milk chocolate, cocoa, marshmallow, graham crackers, and vanilla. Thicker and lingering sweetness. Really good.
