Poured from bottle into a tulip: Pours black with almost no head. Aroma of cocoa, vanilla, marshmallow, and roasted malt. Taste is lots of marshmallow, cocoa, and roasted goodness. Mildly sweet but well balanced with bitterness from roasted malt. Really nice stout.

On tap at Black Bottle Brewery. Almost black in appearance with a brown head. The nose is licorice, molasses, light roasted grain and light earthy notes. The flavor is better, adding chocolate malt, coffee, light vanilla and light marshmallow. Medium to full body. A little off, but a solid imperial stout overall.

Like drinking a chocolate marshmallow drowning in malt. I love this beer. It’s one of my favorite dark beers.

12 oz. bottle. Blackish pour with a brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and sugar. Some vanilla and marshmallow notes. Flavor is sweet, with chocolate and roasted malt to balance it out a little bit. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel, with coating carbonation. Finishes sweet with a touch of booze. Not my style, but not straight sugar like I was expecting.

[email protected], from Wine Spot, Cleveland, USA. Strong, bit pungent aroma with sweet notes of marshmallow, vanilla and some alcohol on the background. Pitch black/red with no head. Strong, smooth and balanced taste with slightly bitter and bit sweeter notes of vanilla and a hint of cocoa and marshmallow. some roasted malts and licorice. Medium/wide taste spectrum and long malty aftertaste with a hint of licorice. Strong/medium body with low/medium carbonation. Overall, quite successful, bit different specialty. Could have more body and a bit more taste for this percentage.

Bottle into a pint glass. Pours jet black, with a minimal head. Decent lacing. Nose is cocoa and dark chocolate malt. Taste follows, but with a pronounced marshmallow sweetness. I was prepared to hate this, but it’s actually pretty good. A little too sweet for my tastes, but not bad at all.

Man, this is a hedonistic Imperial Stout. That’s just the way I like them. Black as night and sinfully rich. DinoSmores is exactly what I need to brave this bastard cold. Pour is thick and low on carbonation - very little foam. Aroma of graham, cocoa, and charred sugar. Taste is huge on toasted milk chocolate and creamy vanilla. Okay, fine, so the graham cracker didn’t translate hugely into the flavor aside from some subtly spicy malt, but with flavors this good, who cares? This is a sipper, but it’s one hell of an easy brew to tip back.
