11/10/17. 750mL bottle from Warehouse. This bottle has been collecting dust at Warehouse for some time now and I always scrolled past because I saw Belgian Strong or whatever on the label - not noticing the Brett C part. If I had, I would have scooped this bad boy up! Although perhaps the time chilling on the shelf had made it develop further. Good shit! Orange pour with a fluffy off-white head that sticks. Lovely Brett in the aroma, some sweet candy sugar, pale malts. Great flavor as well, Brett abound, funky, hints at tartness, candy sugar sweetness pokes through, doughy pale maltiness. Good stuff! Delish!

Pours a bright, cloudy yellow with a full and foamy white head that settles slowly. The aroma is heavily floral, with Belgian spice, pineapple, bubblegum, honey, and hints of wheat and orange. The taste is quite dry. It has a faintly sweet touch and a mild tartness. Still floral, but I now detect a slight herbal flavor as well. Pineapple and orange is a little stronger than they were in the nose, while wheat and spices now serve as undertones. A lingering finish is pineapple and spices. Medium in body, slick in texture, and with lots of fizzy carbonation. Not bad, though I wouldn’t buy it again.

Deep golden.
Sturdy body, prickly carb.
Aroma is stone fruit, funky hay, yeast, spicy and herbal.
Flavor is herbal as well, pleasant. A little heavy, but tasty.

Very hazy dark yellow with a small white head that lasts forever, with ridiculous lacing. Looks to be really well carbonated. The aroma is prominent brett c, with pineapple, some mellow orange, funk, some sweet, crackery malt, and some spiciness. Nice smooth mouthfeel, with a strong Belgian yeast flavor with a lot of phenol spice, a hint of orange, some tartness, uniquely spicy, almost minty hop notes, and a touch of bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel is a bit creamy, with soft but abundant carbonation.

Bottle. Golden and hazy, with a powerfully topped appeal. There’s a nice, fruity and almost-wild aroma here, befitting the style guide. This also drinks with a pleasantly light, yet fully flavored character ... tropical fruit, wild yeast, and just a twist of funk. (#6393, 11/3/2016)

Nice floral straw, grain, spice, and a bit of banana. Thick hazed dark yellow light foamy white head. Straw and spice entrance gets a bit doughy as it fades. Flavors blend nicely into each other by the end.

750, capped. Pours a cloudy burnished medium golden amber with a loose white head that goes away right away. Big sweet nose, lots of caramel, bubble gum, lightly toasted caramel, and a bit of candi sugar. Creamy medium body with moderate carb. Sugars, caramel, bubble gum, and toast on the mid palate. Mild sweeter finish.

Crisp clear golden and peach coloured body with a fast-dying off-white head that shows a good amount of large bubbles - kind of soapy. Aroma of bread, yeast, alcohol, coriander seed, a lot of curacao and even more honey and sweetness/unfinished sugars. Full-bodied; Strong citrus taste up front with honeysuckle, flowers, grain, coriander seed and a little grassy character that ultimately shows some brett and funk notes at the end - very nice and interesting. Aftertaste shows the brett funk up front that lingers into a pleasant yeast and breadie finish along with some honey and fruity sweetness that shows a nice complexity. Overall, a surprisingly good and well-rounded beer complete with some funkiness, but otherwise a relatively straight forward tripel showing some pleasant sweetness. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from West LakeView Liqours in Chicago, Illinois on 14-November-2015 for US$11,95 sampled at home on my youngest daughter’s first birthday party - 30-January-2016.

Bomber from the Bodega. Citrus aroma pretty nice. Some Belgian spice notes. Very pale appearance. Lots of carbonation. Huge fluffy head. Way more citrus and sour notes than a traditional Belgian. I like this. The abv is very hidden.
