Draft at Alla Spina. Pours black with thin diminishing beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, faint dark fruits. Medium body, slight stickiness. Taste is dominated by roasted malt, some dark fruit and dried fruits. Way closer to a stout than a quad.
Sampled at Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. Session 4. Pours dark brown with a creamy, tan head. Dark bread, light Belgian yeast, burnt sugars. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, with nice dark bread, light roast, further Belgian yeast notes. Good one. Ungstrup (37885) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - APR 16, 2016
A black beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, fruit, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, and dried fruits, leading to a dry roasted finish. rouhlas (3628) - GREECE - NOV 29, 2015

(from draught @ CBC green session, Copenhagen 2014. Thanks for sharing today’s beers, RateBeer crew!)
Sample, pours reddish brown with tiny bubbled huge head which seems to be the case with these kegs from Italia. I didn’t kind but pain in ass for a bartender to pour. Notes are roasted malt, prunes, plum, candy sugar, and cereal/vanilla malts.

12oz tulip at City Taphouse. Pours a deep mahogany brown with a ring of beige head. Nose has a lot of chocolate, raw cocoa nib, bread crust, earthy, a little soil, a little raisin, some chalk. Flavor is malty, gristy, chocolate, some dried fruit, but just sweet. Reminded me more of a stout. Chalky finish. Travlr (25250) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 26, 2014

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, dark roasted, light coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dry, dakr malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
Draught at CBC 2014. Black with a beige head. Aroma and flavour of roasted malt, chocolate, dried fruit, caramel and licorice. Rando7 (779) - Iowa, USA - AUG 9, 2014
Very dark brown with this tan head. I had it on tap, it was pretty cold and I didn’t get much aroma. Taste mainly stout/porter like with roast and oats, slight dark fruits. Finish mild roast. I didn’t get a sense of Belgian yeast here. Palate porter-like.
Not bad but not what you’d expect from the description. Seemed like a roasty oatmeal porter.
