500ml bottle from Beerdock, as ’DOTTY DIPA double IPA’ 7.2%. Bottle filled right to the brim. Strong resinous hop aroma. Pours amber with big white head. A fair amount of chunky floating sediment. Taste is soft pine with a firm bitterness. Blend seems a bit disjointed.

Pours an amber colour, taste is extremely hoppy and very dry on the palate, very nice but couldn’t drink more than one without my palate exploding

Bitter. Dry. Little fruit or caramel. I’m not bitter, I am dry. I have no fruit or caramel. I’m also not amber, which this is.

Cask at Birmingham Beer Bash. Poured a medium brown with an off white head. Aroma of berry fruit and caramel malt. Medium body, quite sharp, flavour of tropical fruit with a bitter refreshing end.

Cask at Birmingham Beer Bash; cloudy light brown pour, with soapy off white head, spciy sweet aroma, forward taste of caramel backed up by pineapple hop.

Cask at BBB. Decent, dry, delicious, double IPA. Dotty indeed. I feel a bit dotty now.

jmgreenuk (9449) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUL 27, 2013
Cask at the Birmingham Beer Bash 2013. Poured a hazy chesnut brown colour with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is rich red berry fruit leading to a medium to strong bitter flavour with lots of spice, pepper and liqourice on the super smooth palate. A great DIPA I must say.

DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 29, 2013
Gravity, Leicester BF, 22/03/13. Misted red-copper topped with cream froth. Juicy tropical chew nose suggesting melon, papaya, strawberry chew. Bitter husky nut backing behind soapy floral hop. Back of tongue linger. Hints of well done sausage. Good. But not too good for The Trough with a bus to catch..

Cask, hand pulled at The Anchor Inn,Birmingham.24th march.Pumpclip now reads 7.20%.Poured an amber brown colour with a smallish off white fast dispersing head.Hop and citrus aroma and also like previous rater i noticed some earthiness present.Bitter tasting beer with citrus, wet wood and hop taste and again the earthiness also present.Went down the glass quite quickly especially whilst watching yet another fall of snow outside on this bitterly cold and windy afternoon.

Scopey (14723) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2013
Cask at Craft Beer Rising. It pours hazy deep amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is pungent hop, farmyard, urine, citrus and earth. The taste is resinous, oily hop, earth, assertive bitterness, pithy citrus, salty wood and sherbet with a big bitter finish.Medium body, soft carbonation and slightly cloying mouth-feel. Big, brash and bitter...but definitely not elegent.
