Cask at Y Delyn Wine Bar, Mold. Pours almost black with an off white head. Aroma is burnt toast with hints of coffee. Taste is coffee, chocolate and plenty of roasted malt. A very moreish porter only let down by the fact it?s a touch watery. jmgreenuk (9982) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - JUN 26, 2013
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a dark mahogany with a thin off white head. The aroma is a little earthy peat leading to a medium bitter flavour with roasted malt, a little liqourice and weak coffee on the palate. It’s a little watery, but quite refreshing. kermis (14553) - The Hague / Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUN 26, 2013
Bottle shared thanks to Jmgreenuk. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt. Lots of roasty malt. Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter, and full of roast. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation, and a fair bit of roast. Roasty!

Bottle. Brown wuth a medium body. Big head that took time to dissipate. Slightly chocolate and coffee. A modern take on an old style.
Nothing outstanding but worth trying. RichTheVillan (8248) - Birmingham, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 14, 2013
