Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A hazy amber colour with a very thin white head. Aroma of bready malts, ginger and spicy hops.
Taste of bready, spicy, root ginger beer. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, ginger beer finish. If you just like a full on, alcoholic, spicy, fiery, authentic ginger beer, this is it. It’s decent overall for me. Stuu666 (14806) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUL 27, 2015

Cask at the Clapton Hart, 16/08/13.
Lightly hazed golden with a moderate white covering.
Nose is toasted malts, ginger, orange, fruit notes.
Taste comprises root ginger, soapy overtones, bitter orange, grass.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish.
So so, whilst a SHV is never likely to push the rating digits high this number was a little over soapy. cgarvieuk (25987) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 24, 2012
