Pours hazy copper qith white. Aroma is citrus, caramel, nut, grapefruit. Clean, grapefruit, caramel, light malt. Really good DIPA. Midlight body. Sweet to bitter finish. KBald77 (10) - - JUN 30, 2015
Nice hoppy front with a smooth malty after taste. Slightly sweet aroma. Slightly above average for a double IPA.

Pours an amber from the tap, nice piney aroma, almost pot like, flavor is the same with good bitterness, slightly oily mouthfeel. Good beer. vineyardbeer (1) - - FEB 1, 2015 does not count
One of Offshores best! It hits every aspect of a IIPA and is the perfect go-to when it's available. Ratman197 (14958) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 6, 2014
Poured a clear orange amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of bread, orange, pink grapefruit and light peach. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, citrus and light earthiness with a smooth dry bitter finish.

Tap at the brewpub, MV. Written on the menu simply as "Double IPA", and given the difference with the ABV of the other DIPA (the "Stonewall", 8.5%) I figured this was a new beer, or at least a new recipe. Pours rich gold with a creamy, white head. Great nose of rich and juicy grapefruit with hints of peach and honey. Big sweet flavor with plenty more grapefruit and peach preserves, along with some pale and bready malts and a bit of rich, bitter pine. Also some subtle notes of alcohol. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sticky sweet finish with moderate piney hop resins, along with marmalade citrus fruits and grass. Pretty darn good on the whole.
