bomber, golden pour, thick head, lacing throughout drink. Light, clean crisp taste, excellent brew. At 4.2, easily could drink a 6 pack of this stuff. matalec1984 (115) - Massachusetts, USA - MAY 30, 2012
Pours a nice golden Cooper with thin white head, lots of lacing.
aroma is soft and slightly floral, flavor is balanced with a soft malt profile, and pleasant slightly spicy hop kick on the back end.
super easy drinker and a very nice take on this style auerbrau (3203) - Ithaca, New York, USA - FEB 3, 2010
On tap at Mew’s - Wakefield, RI. Pours a crisp golden sheen of clean and clear pale gold with a minimal froth of white. Aroma a minimal swipe of grass, white bread, and salt. Flavors are gentle and ultra-clean. Two-row malt and a bit of alcohol. Easily one of the cleanest Golden Ales I’ve ever had, which is pleasing and makes it very drinkable. Finishes with nice, slightly spicy and straightforward flavorful hop character in the smack. I could work on a few of these. KBald77 (10) - - JUN 30, 2015
Nice crisp malt flavor, though the description of 'mild hops' is a bit overstated. Nice honey aroma.

Bottle. Pours a lightly hazed gold with a thin white head. Soft crisp grain, light hop presence, crackers and grain. Medium bodied, sweet and grainy, light touches of a very faint lemon citrus note. Crisp and clean, a touch sweet, and a little bit empty, but as it’s currently 95F inside, I’m quite happy with a bomber of this today. nickd717 (4818) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 3, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Clear bright golden color with a small white head and great lacing. Standard aroma, helles-like but with less honey to it, bready. The flavor is pleasant, with grain, pilsner malt, and bread. Not big on the hops, but enjoyable. Very crisp and clean with a light and lively mouthfeel. Good for the style. On tap in the Offshore- Light straw color pour with a small white head, good lacing. Light hop, crisp, and another smooth malt refreshing brew. Nothing outstanding but good drinker, relaxing. Leighton (22019) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 16, 2012
Bottle at home in Salisbury, shared with family. Pours pale yellow with a small, white head. Crispy crackers in the nose, some light lemon. Light sweet flavor, mild pale malts, white sugar, mild bread, faint citrus and straw bitterness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Feels good. Lightly drying finish, some faint leafy bitterness, hay, straw. Pretty bland overall but not offensive.
