UPDATED: OCT 7, 2014 more like an imperial bottled guiness...without the urine aspect. this was best in show at the Sierra Brewfest ’09 as one of the only memorable beers. big roasted chocolate malt and coffee, medium bodied, higher abv at nearly 7% and the classic dry irish finish. VERY good beer. thewolf (12797) - Kolding, DENMARK - MAR 20, 2011

Completely black pour with a fine, staying, creamy, off-white head. Good laces. Lots of milky chocolate in the aroma, some esters, mild roasted, hazel nuts, Nutella. Low to medium carbonation, good creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is nicely sweet, good milky chocolate, hazel, oats, mildly roasted, a hint of alcohol. Long, lingering oaty sweet and grainy bitter finish. Nice.
On-tap at Carmel Country Road. Black with some mocha head, lots of lace. Bitter, high carbonation. Dinkable, but this seemed like a Guiness clone. Roasted body, with coffee, very dry. Coffee grounds. Malts get it done, but just an average beer and below average stout.

GABF-on tap-pours a tan head with black color and red tint. Aroma is chocolate and slight roast aroma. Taste is chocolate/roast-dark malt, somewhat sweet. Medium body. OK carbonation. Occasional. Pinball (12310) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 6, 2011
Bottle from ølbutikken.
Pitch dark, smooth lacing light brown to brown head.
aroma of coffee, roasted malts, brown cakes with chocolate coating, notes of something somewhat harder roasted than roasted malts, but also sweet milky or sugary notes. In total pretty compelx aroma, slightly hoppier and drier than your average stout. Arome is pretty close to guiness foreign extra as i remember it. Flavor is roasted stuff, cofee, chocolate, nice almost spicy dryness from hops, mixed with notes of hard roasted malts. Straight foreign stout, yet still complex, full bodied and very well tasting. Great beer.

Chocolate, coffee, sweetness, roast, liqourice, spice, cocoa in the flavour. Medium to full bodied. Has a dry roasty bitterness in the end. Very nice. Pours black with a tan head, Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and oatmeal. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long roasted, caramel and chocolate finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Nearly black pour. Very small tan head. Aroma of chocolate covered caramel and a hint of worthers original candies. Flavor is a tad roasty with caramel, chocolate and a hint of coffee. hopscotch (11236) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2008
Bottle... Pitch black ale with a small, creamy, lightly tanned head. Decent retention. The aroma is a medley of chocolate, vanilla, coffee and smoke. Medium to full-bodied with a whole-milk mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. Tons of rich, burnt espresso beans and dark chocolate with only a trace of cardboard-like oxidation. Metallic, burnt, bitter finish. Nice, solid stout! faroeviking (11211) - Chupando chellas es como ellas, FAROE ISLANDS - MAY 11, 2011
De botella. Deep dark brown colour with a small light brown head. Quite pleasant aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, alcohol and bit coffee. Good flavour of roasted malt and coffee with chocolate. Tasty foreign stout indeed.
