clear amber, headless, nice sweet carmel malt aroma with a hint of earthy hops, lightly sweet carmel malt flavor, touch of toasted character, lingering bitter finish
Aroma: 6/10; Appearance: 5/10; Flavor: 6/10; Palate: 6/10; Overall: 10/20
The aroma had light malt notes, slight caramel, citrus, and light light fruit. The beer poured a reddish orange color w/ thin lasting head and lacing. The flavor had malts, slight caramel, but thin. The mouthfeel was slightly bitter, thin, and light w/ slight carbonation. Eyedrinkale (3235) - Astoria, New York, USA - MAR 27, 2006
Tap at Vista location. Light red with a trademark small head. Nothing like a frozen pint filled completely to the fuckin rim. Buncha asswipes. Anyway, the aroma is a biy corny with the extract aroma jumping right out. The taste is almost god awful. Soapy and sweet with a stale flavor. Worthless. beeryum (652) - Norcross, Georgia, USA - MAR 21, 2006
Tap @ Vista, Dec 05. Clear copper pour. Caramel malty aroma, some nuts. Malty flavors, with some grassy herbal hops. Smooth bitter finish to end. goldtwins (4319) - Nesconset, New York, USA - DEC 20, 2005
Tap @ Oggi’s Vista: Clear orange-copper color with no head. Nutty malt aroma. Flavor was clean and light. Lightly acidic. Earthy hop finish. Mild bitterness. Really nice amount of flavor.

Pours with an amber body topped by a thick head with good lacing left behind. It’s sweet, malty and slightly hoppy with a touch of fruit and some grainy notes. Medium bodied, smooth and dry. DaSilky1 (2608) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 24, 2005
Burnt caramel is all i could get from the aroma. Golden in color. Caramel and malty flavors are clean and have a touch of earthy leaves with balancing herbal hop spiciness. DarkElf (3066) - La Jolla, California, USA - JUL 2, 2005
(Draft: Oggi’s in Vista, CA) So this Oggi’s Vista creation is called Easy ESB. Yup, very easy indeed, on all the senses, especially the nose. Unless I swirl the beer, I smell nothing. And after swirling, there’s only a very gentle malt aroma. Balanced flavor, though pretty mild for the style. Moderately bitter with a mildly sweet maltiness, this is in the English tradition, but perhaps with a bit more hops. Medium in body. Pretty, dark golden color. Off-white head pours fairly small and fades to a wispy film surrounded by a thin halo. Just not a lot going on in this beer, and not much to say, really. Easy ESB is very easy, mellow, and drinkable, but not flavorful enough for my tastes.
