Dogbrick (13018) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 23, 2008
On draught at the Apple Valley location. According to the bartender, the beer is thusly named due to an error in making the beer, where they are not precisely sure as to the amount of the ingredients that went into it (hence making it "goofy"). The beer is a mostly clear dark brown color with a thin tan head that fizzes away quickly. Stringy lacing. The aroma is lightly nutty with notes of molasses and malt. Medium, smooth body with flavors of roasted malt, nuts and hops. The finish is sweet and nutty with light malt and brown sugar aftertaste. Decent overall.
