UPDATED: JUN 12, 2011 This reminds me of something that is not intended for consumption. It tastes like you chewed an Aspirin and washed it down with warm flavored Tea. I took one drink and the retched flavor remains on my tongue several minutes later. I’m going to hold my nose and power it down as it is my last beer and wanted to catch a buzz.
Nice and earthy... short finish. Clean color. Think of pines......................

Pours medium orange with a half finger white head which fades to just a little lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, tropical fruits, grassy hops, and bready malts. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi-moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a decently tasty, easy drinking IPA that is a bit simplistic but went well the Pizza I had. rlgk (18851) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - NOV 4, 2015
Draught at Oggi’s in Vista, California. Clear golden beer with a really nice lasting offwhite head. Hoppy citrus aroma, peach, citrus, grapes, caramel notes. Hoppy citrus flavor, grassy, herbal, bread notes. Not my kind of IPA. IPagan5 (106) - San Marcos, California, USA - MAR 20, 2015
Light lean citrus pine in aroma and flavor. Balanced on the light end, I’d suggest this more of a pale ale. So good pale ale ok IPA

On tap at the brewpub. It poured a clear orange color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, pine, hops and some sweet malts. The taste was of bitter hops, sweet caramel malts, citrus and pine. Good stuff. bytemesis (9024) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUN 16, 2014

This IPA tries hard to stand out from the crowd. Unfortunately it winds up being just another refreshing alternative that blends into the background. Of course based on all the other pours I should have expected something like this.
Aroma / Appearance - A mahogany base gives this beer a mellow presence. Malt driven and earthy, it is sticky with caramel aspects that briefly promise something more.
Flavor / Palate - Malt, walnut, and earthy hops give this more body than many of the other beers on draft. The finish of cherry pie watered down 50/50 with liquid gives it a reasonable chewiness. Put together into a package it is a forgettable draft.
