On tap at Oggis Scottsdale: Nice appearing orange, honey color with a well retained off white head. Aroma is big, citrus hop aroma and orange juice. Flavor is a rich, grapefruit blast. Really nice, juicy hop slap. Mouthfeel is solid and a bit oily. Enjoyable beer. GG (2332) - NorCal, California, USA - AUG 17, 2007
Tasted at the Huntington Beach location. Really a fresh, clean, high hopped, traditional West Coast IPA. Aroma is a bit on the sweet side, which balances out the intensely bitter grapefruit and piney attack. Appearance is on the darker side of things, solid amber color with a nice thick head. Mouthfeel smooth and light. Flavor moderatly sweet with a high level of grapefruity bitterness. This beer went insanely well with the mushroom pizza I was woofing down. Definitely not really well balanced, but that’s okay. A great beer just the same and damned tasty. grimreeser (797) - Minnesota, USA - JUL 28, 2009
Pours a light gold with a few floatie. Aroma of citrus and pine hops, a bit of malt. Nicely balanced, easy drinking ipa. arrogantb (1402) - Denver, Colorado, USA - AUG 2, 2009
22oz bottle from Southbay Drugs. Nice hazy orange color that looks like there was no filtering involved, cool. Nice hoppy smell but then a the taste departs to a more balanced flavor than I expected. I thought this was going to be a hop bomb like their hop juice DIPA. I bet these Left Coast beers would be great growler candidates.

On tap at half moon in Kennett Sqaure PA. Pours a dark orange color, small head that stuck around. Nice aroma of some bittering hops. Taste is smack to the face with hops..... Just bitter..... dry....piney..... no after taste at all..... clean and crisp.... light in texture.... Great beer. Wish I could score this in bottles.

Drank on 7/31/05: Pours a clear copper orange with a frothy and very well-lacing white head. Fresh, green, citrusy hoppy aroma has lots of grapefruit and a good caramel malty backbone. Body starts with a nice malty grapefruity sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Very well balanced and tastes like the half version of Hop Whompus. Very drinkable. Nice flowery, citrus and of course pine aroma. Big bold citrus grapefruit flavor. Full body with a lot of zest. Leaves the palate with a crisp dry aftertaste. A very fine IPA. bsierra (213) - Vista, California, USA - APR 5, 2008
On draft at Oggi’s Encinitas. The 5 different hops and the double dry hopped brew method used in this give an incredible citrus nose. This poured with a very deep golden hue. The mouthfeel was full and insanely smooth. I tasted hints of cotton candy and intense blends of all the unique hops used to brew. The finish lingered nicely and was extremely enjoyable~ nuplastikk (6275) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 23, 2011
22oz bomber. Unfiltered glowing orange-brown color, frothy off-white head. Fresh citrus aroma, somewhat subdued. Fresh orange citrus notes with a toasty malt background. Hop centered, this is a really nice example of a West Coast IPA. Somewhat dry, quite refreshing.
