Citrus aroma. Copper color with decent head and lacing. Hop head flavor didn’t notice much malt backbone just that cool and crispness on the palate. Good beer. On tap at Scottsdale location

Drank on 7/31/05: Pours a clear copper orange with a frothy and very well-lacing white head. Fresh, green, citrusy hoppy aroma has lots of grapefruit and a good caramel malty backbone. Body starts with a nice malty grapefruity sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Very well balanced and tastes like the half version of Hop Whompus. Very drinkable.

Golden color tall thick well laced off white head. Big hop aroma lots of citrus and grass some sweet carmel as well. Full creamy oily palate. Bitter grapefruit and pine front dry finish w/ hints of carmel. A very well done IPA.

Nice flowery, citrus and of course pine aroma. Big bold citrus grapefruit flavor. Full body with a lot of zest. Leaves the palate with a crisp dry aftertaste. A very fine IPA.

A pretty overwhelmingly hoppy nose. Copper orange color. Flavor is intense hops with small malt backbone. Mostly a hop assault though. Very resiny and dry on the palate. I really like this one alot.

On tap @ Oggis Mission Valley - Pours a clear amber color with a small off white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is citrus and floral hops. Flavor is citrus, pine, and sweet toasted caramel malt. Medium body. Thick, almost chewy mouthfeel. I liked this better than Hop Juice. A very nice IPA.

On draft at Oggi’s Encinitas. The 5 different hops and the double dry hopped brew method used in this give an incredible citrus nose. This poured with a very deep golden hue. The mouthfeel was full and insanely smooth. I tasted hints of cotton candy and intense blends of all the unique hops used to brew. The finish lingered nicely and was extremely enjoyable~

22oz bomber. Unfiltered glowing orange-brown color, frothy off-white head. Fresh citrus aroma, somewhat subdued. Fresh orange citrus notes with a toasty malt background. Hop centered, this is a really nice example of a West Coast IPA. Somewhat dry, quite refreshing.

BeerLimey (2154) - California, USA - JAN 3, 2003
Slightly cloudy, pale amber. Butterscotch/caramel aroma and flavor. Slightly sticky. Grapefruit juice bitterness in the finish. Two extremes that balance each other well.
