Best before May 2006, this poured a colour rather darker than most other wheat beers I’ve had and was a bit on the hazy side as well. The head was substantial, foamy and white. Aroma was of grass and also was tart. Taste was sharp and bitter for a wheat, but sweetened up in the aftertaste. Quite a different wheat beer than I’m used to; liked it! Orangey brown with little or no head. Sweet creamy hop nose. Sweet and thick and a little flat. Cereal aftertaste. Not very interesting or nice for that matter.
