3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sample at Red Brick as part of Ohio Brew Week. Orange-amber pour with a medium off-white head that diminishes slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Malty aroma with touches of hops. Light body with a toasty character and notes of caramel malt and fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Pretty straightforward Amber Ale overall.
Draft pour. The beer is a cleqr amber color with a beige head of foam. The aroma has toffee and caramel and a jammy sweetness. The taste is sweet and fruity. There is something odd going on here too. Something metallic. Light to medium body. Medium carbonation. Chudwick (3181) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - MAY 30, 2014
Dusty 12oz bottle from the last six pack offered at my local liquor store. Nose is full of foam as was my first sip. Foam city. Sip added caramel and floral notes. Tastes kind of sour and a fad sweet. I bet this is super old. Odd for mowing grass. shrubber85 (11324) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Draft. Berry/orange malt and hay aroma. Golden yellow with minimal head. Lightly sweet citrus malt and hay flavor. Medium body. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - AUG 4, 2013
Draft. Sweet earthy caramel malt aroma. Clear copper with a large off-white head. Musty yeasty, caramel malt flavor. Body on the light side of medium, soft carbonation. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 29, 2013
On tap during Ohio Brew Week 2013, taster from Tony’s. Clear orange red color. Little, slightly off-white head. Couple loose splotches of lace. Lighter to medium body. Smooth, kind of soft lighter carbonation, more dry finish. Caramel malt flavor, lightly spicy. Moderate bitter taste, minimal sweet. OK red... Kind of a boring style.. Not sure why it’s so popular

Aroma: Nutty aroma with hints of berries underneath.
Appearance:Cloudy red amber with thick tan head.
Taste: Light sweetness balanced by a light bitterness.
Palate: Medium body, average carbonation, slick texture, long, slightly skunky, finish.
Overall: Meh....it’s not horrible, but it’s not outstanding or monumental in any way. I’m not blown away by it. JaBier (7871) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - OCT 3, 2012
Sample at The Brew Kettle on 9/11/12. Pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. Malty nose with some caramel, but aroma is faint. Malty and caramelly flavor with a light finish. Not a bad aroma/flavor, just not much there. Tmoney99 (14384) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 15, 2012
Bottle. Opened bottle and it erupted with light brown whipped cream. This is the worst of 7500. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUN 15, 2012
12oz bottle, courtesy of miketd: pours a clear deep bronze with a stringy-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet grainy malty nose with a touch of grassy hops. Starts with average fullness and carbonation with mildly toasted pale maltiness and grassy hop bitterness before a drier, fairly clean finish. Not a whole lot going on here, but could be a little more balanced.
