Can from B’s Liquor Store, LangleyOakes (17274) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 20, 2007
Color so pale, almost water. Smells like a fruit candy, pear somehow. Sweetish carbonated pear flavor, moderate acidity.
Not too bad, but it’s like drinking an alcopop.
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2016 Clearish yellow appearance - kind of dull. Aroma is peary, with perfume and phenols. Fake sweet pear...I enjoyed this more before but now just fake, garbage product. mcberko (17178) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 24, 2016
Can, pours a hazy clear colour with a small white head. Aroma brings out artificial, perfumey, sweet pears, not much else. Flavour is very sweet and artificial, with perfumey pears, sickly sweetness and perfumey notes. A typical commercial perry -- sweet and artificial. Not good. Can - Sweet pear. Clear. Light sweet green pear. Very candy like and basically a jolly rancher. jercraigs (10303) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 6, 2009
2009-06-26. Practically clear with light bubbles. Mild sweet aroma of pears, simple. Flavour is similar, simple sugary sweet touches of pears, kiss of alcohol in the finish. Average palate. Okay but simplistic. Bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits, Halifax

[2290-20090626] 341mL bottle. Fruity melon pear passion fruit aroma. Clear, colourless light green body with no head. More fruity pear and passion fruit in the flavour. Light body is fizzy. Fair, nice enough for a fruit drink.

Can: Poured a dark golden color perry with medium carbonation. Aroma of sweet pears is quite strong with some use of enhancer or non-natural flavors. Taste is overly sweet with some pears notes. This is not a perry I would seek again. It is a bit disappointing tasting all the fake flavors knowing that producing perry is not necessarily the most difficult thing in the world. Still, I would say that this was a notch better then their cider. CapFlu (5126) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 19, 2007
(Bottle) CW3 gathering in Victoria. Purchased at the Clear, non-carbonated. Nose is artificially peary. Very fizzy and very bad. Too fake. muzzlehatch (4951) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 30, 2007
UPDATED: JUL 10, 2007 341 ml bottle from Premier Wine and Spirits in Halifax, NS (May 2007) sampled out of the fridge from a Corsendonk glass. A big fizzy soda-pop head vanishes instantly leaving a very clear, almost entirely colorless, lightly bubbly body; this could almost be vodka it’s that clear....pear aroma is very faint, seems simultaneously artificial and underripe, slight woody character and faint spiciness (cinnamon) but really on the whole its quite weak and boring....there’s a bit more color in the flavor, but just a bit -- light pear/apple juice taste, sugary and simple, with a thin and watery body and moderate carbonation, virtually zero aftertaste except perhaps for a hint of Sprite. No thanks, I don’t need anymore. pintbypint (3584) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 12, 2013
355ml can. 5% abv as per can. Pours almost clear, just a light greenish tinge to it, no head to speak of but lots of carbonation fizz. Sweet nose of pear and pear skins. Fruity pear taste that sweet up front but dries out at the end with some pear skin notes and some slight tanginess. Light body, carbonation is high. Has some refreshing qualities and doesn’t taste overly fake.
