Our Brewmaster had added his own twist to this traditionally-brewed Weizen, which pours to a cloudy, golden amber colour. The result is a craft brew with a hint of apricot to give it a refreshing seasonal taste.

I do not hate this beer. Serious apricot notes, its not sweet, no bite whatsoever. Its a real summer beach beer.

[6385-20140622] Tap. Apricot soap aroma. Slightly hazy, pale orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Apricot wheat flavour has a light soapy finish. Medium body. Average. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

Pours a hazy orange with a thin white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of apricots and doesnt feel too artificial overall although Im sure it is. If I try really hard I get some phenols, too, but only in homeopathic quantity. Taste is of peach gummies and fruit juice. Some wheat proteins. Body is light and carbonation medium. Overall an OK wheat ale but a far cry from a weizen.

Can. Cloudy peachy colour, strong apricot aroma, smells fairly sugary. Sweet apricot, with a touch of wheaty acidity.

Bottle - 341ml. Nice, cloudy golden body with a thin white creamy head. Lught malty/hoppy aroma with strong apricot hints. Taste is somewhat bland and lacks both complexity and strength. Ends with a short yeasty/fruity finish. Ordinary.

2014-06-22. Strong artificial seeming apricot aroma. Orange body with a modest white head. Flavour has similar strong apricot fruit, sort of floral and perfumey. Average bodied palate, modest carbonation. Okay, but I dont love the perfumey quality to it. On tap at The Rhino, Toronto

Aroma mostly consistant of the apricot with a bit of wheaty-ness. Appearance was cloudy amber with a light head. Taste is malty with the tartness of apricot. palate is average. Overall not terrible, but nothing special.

Dammit. I dont much like apricots to begin with, and Okanagan snuck this one into my mixer pack by using the extra-tiny writing. You bastards. Well, I already poured it. No head to speak of, but it does have an attractive cloudy amber colour. Smells like apricots... almost as bad as peaches. Flavour has an almost Belgian note to it, citrusy, and definitely rich with apricot... sigh. Look, this beer does nothing at all for me, but if you like an apricot beer, this one is seriously worth a try. Id rate it in the high 1s for being an apricot beer, but out of fairness I will give it an unbiased number...
