O'Keefe Ale dates it's distinctive taste to the roots of the O'Keefe Brewery tradition. A full-bodied, spicy ale with a moderate hoppy character and slight aniseed-like flavour and taste.

this is molson worst product, except for molson excel, but this is very combarable to it.

From old tasting notes. Clear deep gold color has a foamy white head. Slightly fruity malt aroma. Sweet, tart flavor upfront. Dry middle. Bitter hop finish is light.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2017 Pours a clear golden with a medium white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is of corn, light grass and sweetish cereals. Taste is of lightly sweet cereals again and not really bitter. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. Not bad at all, I’m totally getting the golden ale from this.

The best way I can describe this beer is ’cereal milk’ It’s got very little aroma & looks like wee. The taste is very sweet but pleasant. It feels almost creamy in the mouth. Actually, not creamy. Skimmed milky. Like the ghost of creamy. It’s mildly hoppy, not bitter as such but not at all sickly sweet either. It has obvious honey notes with orange tones & a few herbs. Overall, it’s a very easy drink. Goes down smooth & doesn’t leave any residual gassiness or unpleasant after taste.

341ml bottle. Clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Flavors are corn syrup, cardboard and sugar with fruity and vegetal notes. Light to medium body, lively carbonation, smooth texture.

Bottle:   Thanks to Shaughn O’Keefe for his namesake of a beer!   Piss like clarity, little head, wow, make that NO head nor lacing.   Smells like water.   Wow, if this is a Golden/Blonde, its one of the lightest I have ever had.   Holy Schnikes!   Thankfully its not grainy, and what is there is just a slight sweet grassy sort of malty/mealy flavor.   While I find nothing really off with this one, it doesn’t have much to offer. &nbps Really light and boring.   A true lawnmower beer.   This deserves better than a 1 percentile... perhaps a 2?

Bouteille 341ml. Couleur jaune pâle, peu de mousse blanche. Arôme de malt léger. Goût de malt léger, pratiquement rien d’autres. Carbonation moyenne, un peu aqueuse. Bof...

710 ml bottle. Pours a clear straw with a short lasting white head, no lacing. Taste is cereal, corn syrup, nothing very interesting. Dry, herbal finish. Light bodied, watery mouthfeel. Weak carbonation. Cheap.

Originally rated December 2005. Holy smacks ! I thought this one was long gone. I thought it was now the Old Vienna. Then, in a pizza store in Montreal, I see it. Finally, I have found it here, in Gatineau, Quebec. It does list on the label that it is 5% ABV. Pours a golden colour with a good foamy-cream head with heavy retention and nice lacing. The aromas are of malt and alcohol. Watery mouthfeel, quite crisp. The taste is malty and bitter with grain and slight corn finish. A decent ale that is refreshing with a bitter edge and malt winning over corn. The original brewery (O’Keefe) used to have a big share in the Quebec Nordiques... my favorite team. Bring ’em back !

Another day, another different Molson pale lager. Has an average gold body and an average white head. Aroma of burning garbage and rotten cardboard. Flavour is plain pale lager weakness with a wet finish. Not completely disgusting, but certainly boring.
