Opaque black, frothy and sticky tan head, recedes slowly to a nice layer, good sticky lacing; aroma of roasted and smoked malt, brown sugar, cocoa, dark chocolate, peat; taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malt, medium body, creamy texture, maybe a tad watery, dry bitter aftertaste, earthy notes, some ash, bit of chocolate; pleasant smoked porter. Taste - toffee and molasses. Freshly ground coffee on the end.
