Cask @ Bear and Billet, Chester [From memory as notes lost]
foxo82 (900) - Bromsgrove (via Leicester), Worcestershire, ENGLAND - NOV 9, 2013
Amber colour, clear, white head. Remember this as a fairly standard session bitter but better than usual. Light caramel malt, soft bitter hops. Finish did have some more hop in it....recall this as a 3.1
’Country’ #86. Hand pulled at the Bear and Billet, Chester. Dark amber with a small head and a malty, watery taste. Aroma grassy. Finish is too short, the bitterness fleeting, and it’s been served too cold which doesn’t help. undercurrent25 (2149) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2013
Fairly standard bitter, it’s nice but doesn’t stand out at all, would be good on a session however Cunningham (8069) - Halden, NORWAY - AUG 2, 2013
