Cask @ Bear and Billet, Chester [220314] [From memory as notes lost]
Amber colour, clear, white head. Remember this as a fairly standard session bitter but better than usual. Light caramel malt, soft bitter hops. Finish did have some more hop in it....recall this as a 3.1

’Country’ #86. Hand pulled at the Bear and Billet, Chester. Dark amber with a small head and a malty, watery taste. Aroma grassy. Finish is too short, the bitterness fleeting, and it’s been served too cold which doesn’t help.

Fairly standard bitter, it’s nice but doesn’t stand out at all, would be good on a session however

Cunningham (8069) - Halden, NORWAY - AUG 2, 2013

Appearance: Clear deep copper color with a creamy off white head. Good lacing.
Aroma: Mild malty and mild fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Caramel malty, mild hoppy, mild grassy and mild fruity.
Overall impression: Plain and nothing wrong with it, but…..not my ale.
Personal stats: On tap at The Prospect in Douglas, Isle of Man.
