Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. 
Cask @ White Horse, Parsons Green SW6. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Sweetish fruity malty caramel flavor with some hints of hops. Cask. Hazy amber colour with mediumsized white head. Aroma is nutty and flowery along with some nectary and wooden hints. Cask at The Bridge. Clear deep golden color, thick cream colored head with good retention. Aroma of light black pepper, but the young lady sitting next to me was wearing a lot of perfume, so who knows? Taste is light straw and white pepper. Cask at several places in Douglas. Almost clear pale amber. Floral nose with some hay. Mid sweet with light body and soft, firm mouthfeel. Some caramel, plenty of hay. Mid bitter finish, Nicely drinkable.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Unusual nutty, wheaty and slightly herby beer. Different and drinkable.
UPDATED: AUG 8, 2004 Copper coloured. Malty aroma with hoppy notes. Mellow malt palate and finish with good balancing fruity hops. Smooth and relatively full bodied for a session bitter of this strength. Dry finish. A pleasant, easy drinking, bitter. Handpump, The Speaker, London SW1, May 2003

Hazy amber color; thin creamy head. Smooth and round regular Bitter: caramel, a touch of yeasty apples, correct bitterness and not much more.
Cask at the Merchants Inn, Rugby, 17/04/13.
Clear copper coloured with a good sized off white cap that retains well.
Nose is light malt, orange, fruits, sugars, hint of pineapple.
Taste comprises pale malts, light grapefruit, orange, faint hops, light peach.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish.

Cask handpull at Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool. Copper colour with creamy head. Seem to use a tight sprinkler. Yeasty session bitter with goodish hop finish. Bit metallic. Even still tasty session beer. Bit thin around the edges but core yeast/caramel/hop falvours hold together well. A bitter that is bitter
