"Okells IPA is an extremely light coloured beer with a surprising full bodied taste, the sweetness is offset by a very strong hopping rate. That gives the finished beer an over all roundness with very spicy lemony notes and a fine dry finish to counteract the initial sweetness."
originally known as Dr Okells’ IPA

Floral hops, grass, wet straw, light citrus fruits, orange peel, hay. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Light bitter. More floral hops, wet grass and straw, bitter orange peel, zesty lemon, grain and cereal malts, soft carbonation, medium bodied. Nice Bitter, quite rich and intense for the style and ABV. Bottle Filbey’s, Peel.

massingasetta (759) - München, GERMANY - NOV 1, 2015
A relative bitter but tasty IPA from the Isle of Man. A good beer with little complexity but the hops are good and it has remarkably little alcohol for an IPA. A beer that certainly wets the appetite for more IPAs.

Pours almost completely clear orange color, topped with a fairly small white head. Initially plesant citrusy aroma which develops into a more caramel-like and biscuity aroma. Taste starts sweet with notes of caramel, followed by a decent hoppy bitterness. Very nice.
