Cask at Albert Hotel, Douglas. Clear mahogany colour, creamy head. Chocolatey nose. Mid sweet with medium-light body. Soft with some caramel and soothing chocolaty finish. Nice. jgb9348 (6266) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JUL 3, 2010
Muddy brown coloured body with a very thin tan head. Aroma of very light roasted malt, some nuts and a touch of caramel - fairly light. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong nuttiness with malt at first showing a lot of very mild characteristics afterwards with only a bit of caramel and some minor fruits as well. Aftertaste fairly bland and watery with some malt and soap/cardboard afterwards. Overall, not such a great beer, and not showing enough flavours or complexity, even for this style! I sampled this pint on draught at the Rake in London (Borough), England on 13-December-2008. Ethereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - FEB 26, 2009
Cask at the Battersea Beer Festival, 12th February 2009. Dark brown, ok aroma. Bland flavour and watery palate. Dull as (muddy) dishwater. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2009
Cask at the wenlock arms. Alround rating: Caramel, lots of caramel, its drinkable and very typical of a low % mild, however theres just too much caramel in here for me. oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - DEC 30, 2008

Cask @ Wenlock Arms with Magic Dave6 and Mes. Dark brown colored with a slim off white head. Light but very very drinkable. Chocolate and coffe aroma and flavour. Caramel and mal hints in the taste too. Very enjoyable. downender (8660) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2008
Cask-conditioned at the Wenlock, London 20/12/08. Dark brown with reddish undertones and a slight tan head. Fruity aroma with a touch of caramel. Flavour had some sweet milk chocolate, a hint of red berries and a shorty, malty finish. OK. haddon90 (1634) - Newport Beach, California, USA - DEC 17, 2008
Cask. Dark brown with a cream colored head. Light coffee aroma with some malt. Bland flavor. Some malt and coffee. Nothing really exciting to write about this one. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 14, 2008
A Mes rate. Cask at the Wenlock. I was pleasantly surprised by this. Dark brown with a slim beige head. Good fruity chocolate with some faint milky coffee notes. Tastes freshly brewed, good fruity malt and some faint caramel. Rounded, delicate and enjoyable. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 5, 2008
Cask at the Charles Dickens, Sothwark.
Well, its a mild, and the style does not excite me. Soft and malty, but it is too bland.
