deep transparent golden colour, few head, herbal aroma, quite thick and full-bodied, long dry herbal finish - not bad dwyerpg (6498) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - APR 29, 2005
Looks like your classic pale lager, but sure smells better. Terrible head, but that par for the syle. The beer itself is certainly drinkable, nothing real exciting but pleasant. PorterPounder (8364) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 1, 2003
Very average beer - middle of the road ratings all around - nothing ofensive - just nothing jumps out about it. No real head to the pour - light golden appearance. No real discernible aroma. Crisp, lager flavor with a little bit of a hoppy bite earns a bit higher flavor mark. Stays strong to the finish. A bit above the norm for a Russian Lager. rauchbier (3949) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JAN 4, 2004
Bottled. Straw gold, thin shortlived white head and good condition. Sweet malt and slight peppery hop in the nose, sweet and malty in the mouth and a hop bitter chalkiness in the finish.

Bottle poured a straw yellow with a good head and spotty lacing.
Aroma is strea and grass as is the flavor with a light hopy finish.

UPDATED: JUL 1, 2003 very good until you let sit for a while and the beer warms up.
then watch out very harsh.
didn't sit good on the palate after it warmed.
the flavor was like a old peice of bread(stale)
i would have to try it again to see if i notice any changes in the taste. Aurelius (5662) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 28, 2003
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2003 Grainy East European lager aroma. Gingerale colored beer, good label and bottle. Light straw and grain flavor. Pretty well-balanced for the style. Good CO2, crisp finish. Dry. Thinnish mouth. Another in the endless parade of Eurolagers. Boystout (1000) - Chisinau, MOLDOVA - JUL 18, 2003
This one doesn't offend: a bit above truly boring standard lagers. Light, dryish and drinkable. jpm30 (1587) - East Central, Georgia, USA - APR 10, 2007
From a stubby 500 ml. euro bottle with no freshness date, sampled at cellar temperature in a lager glass.
Poured a clear lager golden with a frothy white head that slowly settled into a thin sudsy lacing.
Aromas of sweet pale malts with a touch of cereal, a whiff of mustiness and a light spiciness.
Good steady carbonation and a lightly crisp, dry, smooth light bodied mouthfeel.
Tastes of sugary pale malts, dry cereal grains, a very subtle lemony sourness, towards the end a soft grassy spiciness and a light taste of alcohol, and dry spicy, sweet malty finish.
Not bad, did the trick on a warm spring day.
