Screwed this one up. Whatever. 16 ounce can. A murky light brown pour with a small off white head. Toffee, grape, caramel, and a touch of roast. Mildly sweet, not cloying, fits very well with the beer. Drank this at room temperature and had no idea of the ABV. Light carbonation. Very nice. douglas88 (9721) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 29, 2013
16 ounce can thanks to Pepsi! Pours a cloudy dark amber color with a large white head. A sweet malty nose with berries. Quite tasty, the Heather tips come in with a sort of light acidic note, berries, earthy and sweet malts. Very smooth. Nice. wlajwl (7127) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - FEB 27, 2013
Aroma is yeast, malts and hints of smoke and spices. The flavor is malts, mild smokiness, fruit/spices and a low warming alcoholic finish. cbfobes (2887) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - MAR 26, 2013
Long day at work, and what do you know, randomgarbage sent a box and this was in it, perfect. Pours a clear dark amber red with a thick off white head and nice lacing, aroma has a decent amount of caramel and sweetness, flavor has a nice sweet front end with a thick mouthfeel, almost sour in a way, kind of fruity as well, different, the abv sure is hidden though, doesn’t taste like 9.5. igneous1 (1538) - Davenport, Iowa, USA - MAR 4, 2013
cloudy caramel brown color with a beige thin head. nose is a hint of lemon and spice. flavor has notes of lemon with a fair amount of toffee and caramel. this one was a pleasant surprise.

Hazy amber pour with a fluffy, 3 finger beige head that has great retention. Aroma is full of potpourri floral and berry notes, caramel apple, a little spice and some odd tart notes. Flavor is full of under ripe fruit and floral notes up front, lactic tartness, toffee, caramel covered sour apple, weird floral, berry and pine shoot notes. Light to medium body with a pretty strong, blanketing and sharp carbonation and a chewy entry immediately leading to a dry, chalky feel. Interesting stuff, but I am pretty sure it has a bit of an (unintentional) infection, and/or they are going in a REALLY weird direction for a Scotch Ale. It’s actually pretty interesting and I was really surprised to find it was listed at 9.5%ABV, pretty good overall, despite the likely infection and not really fitting it’s listed style. Though those are often fun attributes. Sledutah (7948) - Utah, USA - MAR 30, 2013

Appearance: Hazy amber with a big off-white head and good lacing
Aroma: Metallic, caramel and ripe fruit
Taste: Toasted malts, ripe fruit, caramel with a mild bitterness in the finish
On tap at the brew pub in Okoboji. Uniqueness point here is the the bubbly carbonation - decent brew. jmohno (1670) - Iowa, USA - MAR 31, 2013

Aroma is belgiany with Strong tart spicey tartness citrus.
Taste has lots of spicey tart tangy citrus, maybe overcarbonated bite with a subltle carmel/malt underneath an overattenuated beer making it a bit dryer and less malty/sweet than I would expect in a scottish ale. Tart with lots of tangy bite with carbonation. Strong Woody oaky sour/tart dominate beer. Otherwise its not a bad beer.Lacks the malt backbone I was expecting.
can from godofthegarbage. aroma of weird play dough, herbal old fruits, peculiar medicinal, almost paintlike caramel. some kind of goofball smell i can’t put my finger on. light strawberry tartness to the taste. touch of grainy bitterness on the finish. quite the strange brew. not so sure i know what the diglett is going on with this one. some odd flavors that were not my cup of tea. curious what billicus would think of this bad boy.
