UPDATED: FEB 6, 2007 (Draught at The Rover, Göteborg) Shady golden color, huge tan head. Big fresh sweet fruity hoppy Amarillo scent, nice! Citrus and grape smell also. Hoppy and bitter taste, also a slight bit astringent. Not really well balanced, at least not the way I like it. Smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness. Svesse (8598) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - SEP 19, 2007
(Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse No 68, Stockholm) Dark amber colour, hazy, with frothy huge beige head. Fruity nose with citrus, grapefruit, resin and a hint of yeast. Fruity taste with harsh notes of citrussy, floral hops, grapefruit, orange peel and resin in the finish. Huge hop character with a twist of yeast towards the end. Some malt sweetness coming through. Very nice beer. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 22, 2012
bottled at rbesg07, almost clear light amber with a faint head; decent grapefruit and scottish porridge aroma; plenty of bitterness with some light caramel in the background; drinkable enough Sigmund (7466) - Tau, NORWAY - AUG 31, 2007
Bottle, at RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Amber to orange coloured beer. Lovely Amarillo hops aroma. The flavour is also dominated by Amarillo hops, some oaky and "raw" alcoholic notes too. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2007
A Mes rate:
Bottle at RBESG. Golden brown with a good head. Lovely grassy hop aroma with obvious amarillo and some slight alcohol. Peach and floral flavour. Creamy smooth palate. Jolly tasty.

Amber. White head.
Rather sweet aroma with fruity, citric aroma.
A bit unbalanced in the hoppiness, but ok bitterness. Grassy and fruity. ekstedt (6773) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2007
Bottle at the Rover, Göteborg, Sweden. Hazy deep golden, small white head. Fruity and earthy malt with spicy and piney hops. Medium bodied with ok mouthfeel. Nice bitter finish. KnutAlbert (6754) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 3, 2007
Bottle, RBESG 07.
Lovely hoppy ale, lots of flowers. Long lingering dryness, too. This should have a broader distribution! Rastacouere (6177) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 10, 2007
Draught, The Rover Clear pale orange, filtered. Dense white head of tiny bubbles. To me, not verey promising nose. it manages to be better than I anticipated though. It is an extremely bitter example, I can’t smell any malts. Licking a hop sack, green bitterness, extreme dryness, floral and pale citrus, pineapple flavours. Poorly balanced and obviously not with such intentions, but tastewise, at least the pale malts offer a certain structural support. Still, it’s an american pale ale and I could never drink two glasses. DonMagi (5593) - bantervile, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 27, 2007
Bottle thanks to Per rbesg07. Aroma is really hoppy, grassy and citrus. Taste is similarly really hoppy with a good bitter finish.
